Policy information. This page describes the information handling currently documented for AlgoVerse. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it as a legally complete policy.
Information AlgoVerse handles
AlgoVerse is a learning platform for data structures and algorithms. Depending on the features you use, the site may handle:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email, password, and details you add to your profile. The current account experience stores this information in your browser’s local storage.
- Messages to the AI assistant, which are sent to AlgoVerse’s server and processed by the Groq API to generate a response.
- Contact messages. Contact and support forms that open your email application do not submit or store your message on the page; sending an email is subject to your email provider’s handling. Where an EmailJS-powered form is used, its service processes the submitted message.
- Payment details for purchases made through Stripe. AlgoVerse does not store full payment card details.
- Usage and analytics data through Google Tag Manager and related analytics tags configured on the site.
Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. The exact information they receive depends on the feature and configuration in use.
How information is used
Information is used to provide account features, respond to requests, process payments, operate the AI assistant, remember site preferences, and understand site usage. AlgoVerse does not describe a broader sale or advertising use of personal information on this page.
Your choices and account data
You can edit your profile, export available account data, or request account deletion from Settings → Data & legal. Privacy controls are available in Settings → Privacy. Clearing browser site data may remove information stored locally and may affect your ability to use the account.
Retention and security
Local account and preference data remains in your browser until you change or clear it. Information handled by a third-party service is also subject to that provider’s retention and security practices. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children and policy changes
The service is intended for people learning programming and is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request. We may update this policy when the site or its services change; the date above indicates the latest revision.
